Adidas Superstar Hellstar Desert Camo - The Adidas Superstar Hellstar Desert Camo is a collaboration that represents the perfect meeting point between Hellstar's "post-apocalyptic" aesthetic and adidas' timeless design. Hellstar, led by Sean Seano, has transformed the Superstar into a piece that seems to come out of an urban-tactical context.
Unlike the classic Superstars, this sneaker uses the Desert Camo pattern as a basis to express the concept of rebellion and speed typical of the Hellstar brand. The upper is covered with a desert camo print made on a resistant material, often a ballistic canvas or a reinforced suede. The iconic Hellstar star and flame logo is placed on the heel and tongue. Often the logo is applied with a relief technique or with a "distressed" effect that accentuates the lived character. The three side stripes and the reinforcement on the heel are made in matte black, creating a clear and aggressive detachment from the desert palette.
The shell tip is not of the classic bright white, but often features an "Off-White" or "Sand" shade to blend in with the colors of the earth and maintain a vintage look. It is common to find personalized lace clips with Hellstar's gothic font and thick cotton laces that recall the workwear style. The sole is designed to look sturdy, with a matte finish that recalls military equipment.
